New Student Flats Granted Planning Permission

Planning permission has been granted for nearly 150 student flats in Nottingham

There will also be almost 150 rented apartments.

Hundreds of new apartments and student flats will be built near the train station, after plans were given the green light today.

Councillors in Nottingham welcomed the development, which will see 420 student flats and 149 private sector rented apartments in two buildings between four and eight stories tall.

The land, near the Vat and Fiddle pub, is bordered by Crocus Street, to the east by Arkwright Street, to the south by Meadows Way and to the west by Sheriffs Way/Waterway Street West.
