CERT Property plans another Manchester development with the acquisition of land at Talbot Road.

A joint venture partnership has completed the purchase of land at 86 Talbot Road, Old Trafford for residential development. CERT Property, who’ll be speaking about their future development plans at BE’s Manchester Development Plans Conference on April 25th 2019, and Salboy have teamed up to acquire the land which has planning permission for the development of 90 apartments over 10 storeys and the scheme is to be launched under the name “Insignia”.

The scheme is located opposite the proposed UA92 campus, within walking distance from the Old Trafford metrolink and is in the heart of Trafford’s Civic Quarter masterplan. The
development offers the perfect blend of quality, location and affordability; the perfect home or buy-to-let investment. It will also offer a range of apartments through “Help-to-buy” government backed scheme which will make it more affordable to first time buyers.

Howard Lord, Managing Director of CERT Property who’ll be speaking at the Manchester Development Plans Conference, comments: “We are delighted to have secured this exciting project in an area that we believe has a great future being a short commute to Manchester City centre and having significant investment planned. We are in the process of registering for the Government’s Help to Buy scheme and anticipate launching sales later this year once our application is approved. Our architects, Leach Rhodes Walker have designed a great scheme and we are looking forward to working with Salboy, Domis and the rest of the professional team on the delivery of this”.

Simon Ismail, Managing Director of Salboy, said: “We are delighted to be working with CERT Property on this prestigious development. It has everything we look for when reviewing proposals for new ventures. A fantastic location with great plans for local investment, superb connectivity to the City with a design to match the growing affluence of the surrounding area. CERT share our vision for quality and delivery, I am sure this will be the first of many schemes we work on together”

CERT Property, which now owns office and residential spaces across Manchester, Liverpool and Nottingham is continuing to expand its portfolio across the region.
