CERT has purchased a 15,000 sq ft office building in Salford Quays.

We have purchased a 15,000 sq ft office building in Salford Quays.

The building, which was formerly home to Unite the Union, was being marketed by Cushman & Wakefield with offers sought in excess of £1.5m.

CERT has renamed the building the Junction and immediately implemented a comprehensive refurbishment to provide high-quality office accommodation with suites available from 150 sq ft to whole floors of 3,000 sq ft. Prices start at £175 per desk for fully serviced accommodation and £15 per sq ft for traditionally leased space.

Howard Lord, managing director of CERT Property, said: “This is an important acquisition for us as it fits perfectly within our strategy to create a new way of flexible working. As the working world continues to evolve, we have recognised the growing demand for adaptable and serviced office accommodation and one of main aims for this year is to deliver a number of new office solutions across the North of England.”

“We are already in serious talks with several potential occupiers and are confident that we will be able to announce our first deal in the next few days.”

B1 Real Estate has been retained as the sole letting agent.
