Nigel boasts over 30 years of extensive experience in the construction industry, having held senior management positions within tier 1, 2, and 3 main contracting companies such as Birse, Balfour Beatty, GMI, Bardsley Construction, and Mulbury Homes. His expertise spans across various sectors including residential housing and mid and high-rise multi occupancy developments.  In addition to residential buildings Nigel has worked in many other sectors within both public and commercial developments sectors of healthcare, education, manufacturing, offices, heritage and civil engineering projects.

Nigel is well-versed in the entire construction process, from inception through to completion guiding and shaping the contract administration together with challenging and directing the technical building aspects of the design, ensuring seamless communication with all stakeholders and providing the best results. He is dedicated to achieving sustained success through hard work and thrives on the dynamic nature of the industry.

Nigel leads by example with a commitment to client satisfaction and business success. Within CERT, he has played a pivotal role in project delivery and cost certainty.  Drawing from his background in main contracting, Nigel aligns our business practices with those of our investing partners to ensure that the employer requirements are met without compromising quality during pre-construction and construction phases. His profound understanding of main contracting’s commercial and procurement protocols offers a distinctive perspective to guarantee that budgets and programs are effectively managed and maintained.

Furthermore, he demonstrates exceptional skills in promoting collaboration amongst all our supply chain partners to guarantee the successful delivery of projects. He is also helping CERT to embrace sustainable construction methods to support our objective of developing environmentally-friendly residential properties for future generations through the reduction of embodied carbon in materials and carbon consumption within spaces, we are embracing innovation and technology to combat climate change.
