CERT completes the sale of The Courtyard, Royal Mills to Manchester City Council

CERT Investments, part of CERT property group has completed the sale of The Courtyard at Royal Mills to Manchester City Council.

The property comprises of 12,700 sq ft of office and studio space housed within the Royal Mills complex of buildings in Ancoats and is fully let to 10 different tenants. Under the deal, the Council has acquired the 150 year lease from CERT to add to its existing holdings within Royal Mills.

Tenants in The Courtyard include Elevate Architects, Street League, the charity Reclaim and Strazala Architects. CERT property has taken a leaseback of 1,000 sq ft of space as part of the transaction and will continue to be based at the property.

LSH and Primas Law acted in the sale for CERT property, with Avison Young representing the Council in the purchase.
